• Maintenance Technician 1st shift

Currently we are searching for our US manufacturing plans a self-motivated

Essential Duties:

• Visually inspect and test equipment and perform preventive maintenance tasks that cannot be assigned to machine operators
• Assist in installing, servicing, troubleshooting and repairing all production equipment as needed
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and preventive maintenance service
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of equipment also off-shift if necessary
• Perform cleaning of machines inside, outside and underneath per regular schedule
• Perform mechanical skills including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing machines
• Use of various types of hand tools, powered hand tools and simple machine tools
• Assist manufacturing engineering in process and quality of existing or new equipment. Take part in pre-acceptance and acceptance of new machinery equipment
• Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices
• Perform other duties as the individual's scope and capabilities
• Comply with all safety and OSHA regulations

Qualification:

• Degree from technical school or equivalent is preferred, however not required.
• Minimum five years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment is desired.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 70 lbs., to stand, walk, twist and turn frequently.
• Ability to work independently and / or within a team.
• Ability to speak, to read and understand to communicate with supervisor and existing Management.
• Skill to solve practical problems and deal with situations in which only limited standardization exists.
• Experience with basic electrical systems, mechanical systems and pneumatics.
• Ability to multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
