PromoAdvantage, a Boundless company, is seeking a warehouse manager to join our MN team! This role will be responsible for efficiently managing and productively operating the activities surrounding the storage and distribution of a promotional merchandise warehouse. This role is also responsible for special projects related to customer products.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for verifying the quantities and quality while recording all inventory received.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent system whereby items in the warehouse can easily be located.
  • Responsible for timely completing customer orders by accessing merchandise from in–house inventory, preparing for shipment and recording outgoing customer orders utilizing third-party shipping systems.
  • Monitor all warehouse inventory activity for responsibility to assure that inventory controls are followed, and company assets are maintained.
  • Responsible for the areas of warehouse storage, shipping and receiving for organization, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Responsible for coordination and oversight of both domestic and international package and freight shipments
  • Provide applicable inventory movement reporting as directed to Company staff.
  • Monitor and manage physical inventory of all customer products.
  • Manage temporary hired labor for efficiency of special fulfillment projects.
  • Review and monitor Profit and Loss statements for Warehouse operations each month. Notify President of any issues or concerns.
  • Responsible for completing order fulfillment and inventory transactions, including pulling product, packing, labeling, and shipping.
  • Flexible to assist in other areas and special projects as needed.
  • Own overarching relationship with freight companies (FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL, Int’l freight, etc.)
  • Comfort with computers and some level of familiarity with spreadsheets (for upload to systems in order to print shipping labels en masse)
  • Ensure fire extinguishers are maintained and bathroom, first aid and kitchen supplies are ordered as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises the warehouse department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be pretty proficient at typing and have a solid working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and third party shipping software, such as FedEx and UPS.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma required along with and four to five years distribution and warehouse related experience. Post-secondary education preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Experience with pallet jack, hand truck, and forklift (forklift certification preferred).
  • Ability and experience to work in a fast-paced environment with high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated multi-tasking ability.
  • Independent strong self-starter and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with customer service and promotional marketing distribution preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
