About us
SJM Marketplace Ventures re-manufactures both gas and electric outdoor power equipment from some of the country's most popular brands. Machines that are damaged in transit, refused by customers or returned are sent to us to be recertified and reconditioned to function and look like new. Our facility is located in Lenoir, NC and we currently occupy 150,000 square feet.
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to organize, oversee and be resonsible for the quality of the final product.
We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures bit that knowledge does not have to be specific to our product or industry. The ability to understand and contribute to our policies and procedures is a must. Passing that knowledge and maintaining discipline in the work force will set you apart as a leader
Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we’d like to talk to you. The goal is to ensure the highest quality possible in an efficient and productive manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Manage and understand key performance indicators and how they can help optimize quality and efficiency.
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Monitor quality feedbavk from customers to resolve manufacturing issues
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Enforce health and safety precautions
- Report to upper management
Skills
- Proven experience as quality assurance manager in a parts driven environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing management
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
- Small engine knowledge and experience is a definite plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
