Job Description:
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday- Friday
Pay: $ 20/hr
Location: Elkridge, MD at times may be hybrid depending on business needs
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responds to telephone inquiries and complaints using standard scripts and procedures.
- Gathers information from the caller to properly resolve the situation.
- Communicates appropriate options for resolution.
- Investigates and resolves complaints.
- Refers non-routine inquiries and complaints to senior level Call Center Representatives.
- Uses a computer system to research inquiries and log customer calls.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- HS. Diploma or GED; some college preferred
- CPhT or PTCB
- 1 years of experience - Pharmacy Tech experience
- PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- Pharmaceutical experience is preferred
- Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Considerable interface by telephone and/or in-person necessitates tact and strong verbal communication skills.
- Experience with accounting preferred.
- Excel experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works in a call center operations environment.
- Ability to use PC, calculator, and/or other office equipment.
- Works independently or as part of a group or team in a diverse work environment.
- Paid Training - duration approx. 4 weeks
- All equipment provided
