The nurse recruiter is responsible for the outreach and sourcing of candidates to build an applicant pool for positions within the department of nursing. The Nurse Recruiter will screen and interview candidates, as well as facilitate the entire interview process which will assure that Highland has the most qualified nurses available to deliver skilled and compassionate care per Highland Hospital mission, vision and values. The recruiter will assist in assuring regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements
BS in nursing required. Minimum of 3 years as a clinical nurse (5 + years preferred). Recent inpatient nursing experience, progressive leadership experience and previous recruiting experience preferred. Current NYS RN license required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong verbal and written communication skills and formal presentation ability.
