Director of Finance
Commonwealth-Parkville School is a college preparatory co-ed day school grades PPK-12 founded in 1952, located on two campuses – an Elementary School in Guaynabo, and a Middle/High School in Hato Rey. Our challenging curriculum, taught in English (with a strong program in Spanish), aims to prepare students for success in stateside and local universities, the workplace, and life.
CPS is looking for an energetic and experienced Director of Finance to join our Leadership Team, who will take on the following responsibilities:
- Provide financial oversight
- Manage business office operations, including accounts payable and receivable
- Play a leading role on the Board Finance and Capital Improvements Committees
- Work with the Head of School in developing strategic and annual plans
- Take the lead in budgetary and financial planning, including planning for tuition and salary levels
- Oversee audit and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years experience in finance and business office management
- Masters in Business Administration, or equivalent degree (CPA and/or advanced degree in finance or accounting preferred).
- Fluent in Spanish and English
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $70,000.00 per year
