Accounting Clerk | San Antonio (Downtown) Job at TRDI
Hourly Rate: Depends on Experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
The Accounting Clerk will perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for accounting data including accounts payable, billing, and receivables.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable
- Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies
- May assist with mail distribution, answering telephones, and other clerical tasks as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to effectively work with team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
- High School Diploma Required
- Bookkeeping training preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite or related software experience a plus
