Aspire is a healthy green tea-based energy drink with no sugar, calories, or carbs! We are a quickly expanding nationwide beverage company that is looking to hire Territory Sales Representatives due to accelerated growth, new points of distribution across several new Retailers, and market expansion.
We are a team at Aspire and looking for individuals who want to be a part of the team dynamic.
This Territory Representative will lead sales efforts with retailers by building relationships at store level, gaining secondary placements, building displays, and using their creative assets to catch the consumers attention. This sales role will be essential in launching a new market, selling displays, organizing store marketing opportunities through scheduled samplings, and working with our national team to create sales/store standards.
Previous Merchandising or Retail sales experience preferred. We want people who are motivated, organized, conversationalists, creative and team leaders whose voice will help us build our company through their account relationships.
This position is for someone who is happy to be in accounts 100% of the time!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Establish positive relationships with store managers at each local store.
- Execute National program secured at HQ level for each respective account
- Sell in incremental displays, secondary placements, Cold availability, and points of interruption in the stores
- Inspect what we expect: Visit stores to check on shelving, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Manage a set list of stores in an assigned territory (Grocery/Mass/Club)
- Ensure area compliance on national corporate mandated and optional programs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalized experience required.
- 6 months to 3 years’ experience required in Consumer Products and/or Beverage industry.
- Well organized with ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Must be willing to travel to meet with assigned customers.
- Results oriented, innovative, possess strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced work environment. Must be adaptive to change within organization and industry.
- An outgoing personality, enjoys interacting with store managers, and building relationships.
- A passion for healthy products and a healthy lifestyle.
- Reliable source of transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Previous Merchandising / Sales Rep experience
- Existing knowledge of regional off premise chains in assigned territory.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven track record of being dependable.
- Regularly lift, move, kneel, bend, and place up to 30 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays as needed.
Hours/Travel Details
- 40 hours per week (Monday- Friday)
- Cover the assigned territory.
- Cover all of Kansas City. Occasional Travel as needed.
