Supervisor, Buildings Job at City of Shreveport, LA
Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Performs skilled precision work while also supervising and coordinating activities of skilled, semi-skilled, and/or unskilled workers.
- Maintains and repairs heating and air-conditioning systems; operation equipment; electrical and mechanical system; playground equipment; physical structures of building, etc.
- Implements approved work, training and safety program.
- Requests tools equipment, and supplies; and submits work reports.
- Assists with budget estimates.
- Screens applications, interview job applicants, and recommends new hires, premonitions, pay raises and other personnel actions.
SPAR RESTAURANT/SUPERVISOR BUILDINGS
Responsibilities include creating menus, planning meals,
and preparation, flavoring and cooking, includes ordering
supplies, stocking, scheduling, setting prices, organizing
records, tracking food cost percentage. Submits monthly
inventory to Supervisor.
Supervises and schedules attendants engaged in the
operation of the Golf Course Restaurant.
Complies with all Serve Safe Laws and Regulations. Time,
Temp and Rotation of food. Sets up a cleaning schedule for
detailed cleaning of equipment. Complies with safety
regulations and maintenance and repairs of equipment.
Must be able to lift and stock heavy items, direct others and
communicate effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in building maintenance including three (3) years on a supervisory or lead worker position.
3. Hold, or be able to qualify for, such certificates and/or licenses as may be required by Federal, State and City Government.
