Dunn Hospitality Group is a design-forward construction firm specializing in high-end construction projects. We are now hiring an experienced Superintendent to join our leadership team and help continue our mission to provide outstanding quality and control in the hyper-competitive construction industry.

The Superintendent will be directly responsible for all aspects of the construction process while working alongside a project management team ensuring projects are completed accurately, to scope, on time, and on budget. The right candidate will be well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures to coordinate a team of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate is well-spoken, client-relations driven, with an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all projects are performed in accordance with contractual and quality standards and up to code
• Scheduling and directing the daily activities of work and taking necessary action to assure that the project objectives and process are met
• Development, procurement, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining daily paperwork such as daily logs, field reports, schedule updates, and E-mail correspondence to keep those involved with the project informed of important issues
• Implementing incremental project schedules that make sure upcoming events are on track and are being proactively attended to
• Conducting and/or attending preconstruction, progress, and other project and staff meetings
• Monitor subcontractor needs, evaluate performance, and address related issues as warranted
• Capable of physically walking/climbing stairs for hours per day

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have commercial construction management experience; Hotel construction experience preferred
• 5 years project superintendent experience with 15 years of total construction experience preferred
• Must be able to manage employees/subcontractors and have strong leadership skills
• Must have experience in general contracting (wood framing, interior & exterior finishes, and advanced MEPF systems)
• Must have a thorough knowledge of OSHA's requirements for construction safety and have attended an OSHA 10 hour certification in the last five years
• Must be able to read and decipher construction documents
• Must be able to identify quality workmanship as it relates to building codes, industry standards, and contract documents
• Must be able to produce, maintain, and direct the project schedule as well as manage project budgets and owner relationships
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

along with basic computers skills (emails, printing, scanning, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
