Grace Therapy and Wellness Center

Our practice is culturally competent, anti-racist, LGBTQ+, sex worker, kink, and poly affirming.

We provide individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy to the communities of Oak Park and the Chicagoland area. In addition to therapy, our organization will be offering wellness services such as massage, acupuncture, and trauma informed yoga. Our therapists are able to see clients virtually anywhere in the state of Illinois, as well as Florida and Wisconsin.

Sex Therapist/Psychotherapist Position at Grace Therapy and Wellness Center

Located in Oak Park, Chicago and/or Remote, Full-Time. Must either live in or be willing to relocate to the Chicagoland area.

Is sexual dysfunction, sexual identity, gender identification, and couples work your passion ? Have you spent time and money honing your skills as a licensed therapist, and desire to pass along your knowledge to clients in need? If so, we are looking for you! This position also includes full time work as a therapist at Grace Therapy and Wellness Center.

A clinical Master’s degree, LPC, AMFT, LSW, LMFT, LCSW or LCPC, sex therapy training, and experience with providing individual, and couple therapy is required. No experience with private practice is needed- this can be a learning opportunity! We encourage individuals who identify as BIPOC to apply.

Benefits include:

• $50-$65 per clinical hour depending on experience level and additional certifications. Supervisors are employees and receive a W-2 with all taxes withheld

The “behind-the-scenes” work involved in a therapy practice, such as intake, maintaining a documentation system, billing submissions, and marketing is covered by office staff. We expect clinicians to also get involved in their own networking efforts, to attend meetings, and be a part of our practice culture.

An important part of the culture at GTWC is working towards anti-racism and being socially just within our organization and our community. We serve a diverse population of clients, so we do our best to represent and reflect that diversity in our practice. Every month we hold a practice wide meeting that includes educational opportunities (such as sex therapy education, de-colonizing mental health, fat-positive therapy, etc). We also have a monthly case consultation group. In addition, all clinicians in the practice who identify as white participate in a monthly processing group to address systemic racism. All clinicians who identify as POC receive monthly time off for self-care.

We operate using a hybrid model of Telehealth and 1-2 days in one of our physical locations in Oak Park or Downtown Chicago (Monadnock building). Clinicians located in, open to relocating to, or licensed in Illinois may apply.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
