You’ll need a solid background in cross-functional collaboration as you work closely with integrated teams in Manufacturing, Product Development, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales and Service. What you’ll be able to do:
- Improve Ford’s product quality during vehicle launches
- Work with multiple cross-functional teams to gather Module Provisioning information, and combine all the needed data into a standard document that meets the needs of our dashboards or stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Program Management, Launch teams, Manufacturing, End of Line, Product Development, GDIA, Enterprise Connectivity, and IT Team members
- Take on collaborative work with other departments with the intention of representing our Model e Quality department’s interests
- Apply project management disciplines by making sure that risks are identified, mitigated, or escalated
- Promote and use connected vehicle data and technologies
- Build strong and positive relationships with business partners across multiple organizations
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science/Analytics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with core & peripheral ECU provisioning Data Analytics
- 3+ years of experience writing sophisticated SQL queries needed to query and analyze data
Our Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to understand how to ingest big data sets from a variety of sources (SQL, Alteryx, Google, Hadoop, Hive Tables, etc.)
- Experience with Automotive systems, features, and/or components
- Ability to generate ad hoc reports or data analyst upon request
- Experience with Connected Vehicle Data and its technologies
- Experience with program launches, especially automotive
- Ability to work with data science teams/engineers, cross collaboration for tool and process improvements
- Excellent English language proficiency as this role will require detailed understanding and interpretation from business partners
- Ability to take complex problems and break them down to build and implement an action plan
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to engage with upper management as well as peers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and projects
- Proven to consistently perform at a high-level of technical competence, showing composure and decisiveness under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
