We are looking for a talented PSBU PLM IT Leader to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Power Systems Business Segment in Minneapolis, MN/ your home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Partners with business functions to define, determine, analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements and priorities for information systems and solutions; works with application and technical experts on the solution design, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the information systems.
- Leads the effort, in conjunction with the business to define and document what constitutes business success for large or complex initiatives within a single organization.
- May work as part of a team on project definition and documentation for initiatives that cross organizations.
- Leads a group of analysts to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location), as appropriate for the complex initiative.
- Elicits, analyzes, and documents non-functional business requirements.
- Leads and conducts requirements management activities, as necessary.
- Seeks out and analyzes information regarding the impact of changes within an organization or between organizations, ensuring that the effects of changes are well understood and approved by all of the appropriate stakeholders.
- Leads and conducts solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs within the organization or across organizations.
- Reviews test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participates in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements within the organization or across organizations.
- Conducts complex problem analysis and resolution as needed. Acts as a point of escalation for complex, non-routine problems.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with both business leaders and other functions involved in downstream technical processes.
- Coaches and mentors less experienced business analysts

- Solution Functional Fit Analysis - Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
- Significant relevant experience required. 5-7 years of experience.
- Broad IT skills, understanding of technical aspects of multiple systems and their connectivity
- Ability to present complex topics to non-IT audience
- Broad understanding of product release, Windchill PLM, Engineering design, CAD, BOM, Products, Order Management, Configuration Management, ERP, MES.
- Good facilitation and mediation skills, ability to work with and lead distributed teams, conflict.
- management, inquisitive and willing to learn, ability to drive projects to closure, analytical, thinks broadly, decision maker.
Summary
- Lead IT infrastructure direction and strategy for PSBU regarding Windchill PLM roadmap projects and PSBU internal improvement projects. Primary liaison with Product Capability IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Technical solution leader for PSBU PLM
- Help develop PSBU technical solutions for PSBU for Windchill roadmap projects and PSBU improvement projects.
- Provide requirements, information, guidance, ideas generation, scope considerations for business modification requests to today's processes and capabilities.
- Windchill Test Event planning, supporting the PSBU Program Manager.
- Identify required supporting infrastructure, request and validate infrastructure readiness.
- Work with wider PSBU PLM team to ensure test case tracking process is operational
- Data Clean-up & Data Migration Track Leader
- Work with PC IT and PSBU data owners to identify internal PSBU data clean-up activities supporting data migration for deployment waves, part sharing projects, and ah-hoc activities.
- Manage Contracted resources supporting IT and data projects.
- Manage contracted resources, giving instruction, guidance and support as required. Management of tasks, tracking progress to contract.
- Member of the PSBU Extended CCB team.
- Reviewing requests for correctness and suitability for deployment, considering the IT impact, technical issues, data quality, compliance to standards as applicable

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
