The expected salary range is $100 ,000 to $ 135 ,000 and subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Company.
POSITION SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The primary purpose of the project manager role is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects. The project manager must do this within scope, to a certain quality, and within time and cost constraints. These factors may be clearly defined or require dynamic change management to deliver business value.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze project proposals to assess project timeline, budget, and necessary activities to achieve desired results.
Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timelines are met.
Establish work and staffing plans for project activities, iterations, or phases, and arrange for project personnel recruitment or assignment.
Design and implement project communication plans.
Perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.
Create project documentation using input from cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Project Charters, detailed functional requirements, and project plans.
Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of information while providing consistency in content and form across the organization.
Ensure that project goals are aligned with business objectives.
Control scope to limit scope creep and drive change control through proper channels if scope adjustments are necessary.
Ensure that project goals are achieved.
Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel and define the scope of their authority.
Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
Ensure project quality by overseeing project QA planning and execution.
Ensure project delivery by overseeing project UAT planning and execution.
Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as required.
Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
Benchmark project management performance continuously to identify the potential for improvements and increase project and portfolio management capability.
Coordinate and work with the following primary stakeholders:
Project sponsor and key stakeholders
Project team/staff (including designated users or customers)
Business Unit (BU) management and executives
Enterprise architects
Subject matter experts (such as in security or compliance)
Infrastructure and operations staff
Business analysts
User/customer product owner
External service providers’ and consultancies’ project manager(s)
Quality Assurance (QA) testers
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Experience in leading projects.
Experience in leading teams.

Ability to lead and motivate others, empathize, and know personality types.
Familiarity with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
Board management experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.
Sensitivity to working in a political environment and interacting with senior leadership.
Knowledge of project-planning tools such as MS Project.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
Well-developed time management skills with a strong ability to multitask.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent applied experience).
Master’s degree is preferred.
Three or more years of IT experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
A minimum of two years of demonstrated competency in management roles involving the execution of multiple projects or a large project
Willingness to acquire project management certifications (PMP, CSM) within 12-months of hire.
Three or more years of BU or BU-facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
Background in property and casualty insurance, financial services, or other relevant industries preferred.

Physical demands are that of an office environment, climate controlled, with minimal physical exertion. This position requires prolonged sitting, the ability to utilize a computer and interactions with others in meetings or via phone.
