Wanship is a mid-sized trucking company totaling 100+ newer Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks and 150 Great Dane trailers with Thermo-King refrigerated-trailer units. Wanship is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers in our North Salt Lake terminal. We are looking for dedicated, hard-working drivers who take pride and ownership in their work. We are ready for another PM delivery driver in Salt Lake (Monday through Friday) this includes routine deliveries to Associated Foods, Walmart, Kroger (Smiths) and often picking up at Schreiber’s in Logan. Shift begins at 2pm due to a regular Walmart delivery at 4pm.

PM Local Driver

• $28 an hour
• Performance based pay increases.
• No hand unloads.

Responsibilities

• Pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
• Use of technology-driven logs and dispatch
• Treat our customers like family
• Safe and courteous driving is a must

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A CDL experience required
• No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years
• No “serious” violation (reckless or careless driving, DUI or failure to submit etc.) in the past 5 years.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Manual transmission experience - required but we have manual and automatic transmissions.
• Excellent backing skills
• Clean MVR
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must be able to read and speak the English language
• Great attitude and work ethic
