Job Description
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), and in accordance with the nursing care plan, the PCT performs delegated competency validated patient care functions and applies technical skills of a limited uncomplicated nature. Duties include perfprming: EKG’s, Tracheal suctioning,Tube feedings (NG/GT),Urinary catheter insertion,Blood draws (preferred),I.V. insertions (preferred)
Qualifications
High school diploma or state High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) , State certifiecatio as a Nursing Assistant, completion of one of the following: PCT community College or hospital based program,EMT or Medical Corpman. One year recent PCT experience preferred.
