You will be the champion for the 80/20 program across the Air-Cooled Applications vertical. The main objective is to create organic momentum, sustainability and financial impact for the 80/20 programs on our scorecard in all departments, regions, and plants. From a strategic perspective, you will lead the strategy planning cycle/process, guided by 80/20. You will report to the Vice President, General Manager of ACA onsite/hybrid at our Global Headquarters in Racine, WI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead 80/20 process, training, methods (including Zero Up, PLS, In-Lining, Inventory ABC/XYZ, Supplier rationalization) across the department.

• Use 80/20 thinking/data to analyze the business.

• Collaborate with business leaders on implementing 80/20 practices to achieve margin expansion and other fiscal year goals.

• Create pricing strategy that maintains 80/20 quadrant profit profiles while addressing inflation, deflation, leakage, quoting, and eliminating price downs.

• Define the phases of Lean and 80/20 and the roll out at each plant with the MD - Global Operations.

• Develop and schedule 80/20 training sessions based on your department needs.

• Aid the collection and verification of 80/20 data sets on a quarterly basis.

• Develop performance metrics/dashboards to monitor 80/20 progress across the department.

• Establish 80/20 champions or coaches throughout the department and monitor goals for these roles.

• Work with MD Global Operations, GMs, and Regional MDs to improve the future manufacturing footprint of the ACA vertical.

• Lead the strategy planning cycle: lead the 6 BU/Regions through the annual market refresh, 3-year strategy formation, and (PD) deployment/communication.

• Coordinate with management teams to organize brainstorming and benchmarking events that help identify future strategic opportunities

o Development of new services, products or offerings for the vertical

o Evaluate M&A opportunities to improve competitive position, enhance our right to win, improve diversification or accelerate growth.

o Build and facilitate business case and scenario planning models tied to organic strategic growth priorities and strategic cost or margin improvement projects.

• Stay current on emerging and market trends, market sizes, market opportunities and competitive threats affecting the vertical

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to make compelling arguments to change and simplify the business.

• Ability to collaborate with different viewpoints, cultures, and levels of organization

• Ability to network and create relationships throughout the department.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills

• 10+ years of previous experience in Finance, Sales/Marketing, Business Development or Strategic roles

• Training related to 80/20 processes

• Experience in training and leading teams

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree required.

TRAVEL:

25+% travel – based on project work and timing requirements.
