Marketing and Sales Engineer Job at Advanced Assembly
We are looking for a Marketing and Sales Engineer that will be responsible for maintaining and segmenting Summit Interconnect’s customer database, acting as the resident expert for our marketing automation tool (Hubspot), and helping company leaders access and utilize data for insightful decision making.
As a strategic member of the Marketing team, you'll act as the primary administrator of our HubSpot software and ensure the integrity of the CRM database. You will leverage content and industry best practices to drive customer loyalty, capture new contacts, qualify leads, and enhance the overall customer experience. You will track trends across all contacts and build reports that provide data-based analytics to support team and organization-wide needs.
Additionally, you will work closely with company leaders to capture critical data, analyze information, and provide insights that will help drive company direction.
Success in this role will depend on effective collaboration with team members across the entire organization and on the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
Marketing Automation
· Optimize existing marketing automation and lead nurturing processes.
· Coordinate and move leads through the buyer’s journey, turning leads into customers and customers into advocates.
· Build targeted email marketing lists, set up, and execute email campaigns using industry best practices and automation..
· Monitor campaigns closely and provide recommendations for improvements using analytics.
· Assist in building and distributing customer-facing surveys.
· Create and maintain workflows, manage forms, and create landing pages.
· Understand and assist with back-end integrations with other systems.
· Support additional marketing initiatives as needed, including webinars, intranet site, and event lead management.
CRM Management
· Maximize the efficiency of the CRM data and software to improve customer care.
· Manage segmentation of contact lists and maintain database integrity.
· Oversee lead segmentation, list management, and data enhancement.
· Support Business Development and Sales team members' in the use of HubSpot by providing training and documentation.
· Act as the liaison between employees and the CRM software.
Metric and Analysis
- Responsible for monitoring campaign metrics, developing Marketing metrics to compared against industry benchmarks, and recommending improvements on various campaigns.
- Provide state-of-the-art analytics to support all Marketing acquisition and retention programs.
- Create and maintain dashboards summarizing marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
- Build and share critical reports and metrics with departments across the organization
- Collect data on customer actions, identify useful trends, and share insights with other members of the organization.
Qualifications
· 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing
· Proven experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot or equivalent)
· Knowledge of email marketing and contact segmentation methodologies
· Exceptional analytical skills
· Experience using SQL queries to create reports
· Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets, Tableau or similar reporting software
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work effectively in groups and collaborate across departments
