Manufacturing Process Technician Job at Diamond Foundry

Diamond Foundry is looking to bring on a Manufacturing Process Technician to the team. In this role, you will be joining a team of highly skilled production technicians and engineers. This position focuses on operating tools and running experiments for the Process Engineering team. We are looking for people with a proven ability to work with less support. Working with Metrology tool experience helps.
Typical salary ranges for this position is $24.00 - $35.00 per hour. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Execute record process adjustments as necessary.
- Operate a variety of equipment with varying interface types.
- Maintain Process Sheets and document changes as needed.
- Develop new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)’s and Process Sheets as necessary.
- Monitor processes on a daily basis. Adjust where appropriate and notify Process Engineers on critical issues.
- Assist with equipment and process validations, optimizations, and characterizations to reduce cost and increase capacity.
- Assist Process Engineers whenever needed.
- Work with team members and independently with a high degree of initiative to support and maintain good manufacturing processes and continuous improvements.
- Communicate production status and issues in a timely manner to team members and management.
- Train personnel on equipment, maintenance, and safety practices.
- Assist other teams to ensure an adequate production environment whenever needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in operation of process equipment.
- Experience in fabrication processes/reactor growth environment is highly desired.
- Knowledgeable about production quality metrics is a plus.
- Manufacturing or Facilities experience a plus.
- Previous technician experience is preferred.
- Associates degree in a technical field, military-technical training with 4+ years experience, or 5+ years’ work experience in a related technical field.
- Organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with using PPE and safe practices when working with high voltage, microwave, compressed gases, and chemicals.
- Ability to perform critical tasks with a high level of accuracy per procedures.
- Good computer skills, and MS-Office suite (or Google apps equivalent).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
