Diamond Foundry is looking to bring on a Manufacturing Process Technician to the team. In this role, you will be joining a team of highly skilled production technicians and engineers. This position focuses on operating tools and running experiments for the Process Engineering team. We are looking for people with a proven ability to work with less support. Working with Metrology tool experience helps.

Typical salary ranges for this position is $24.00 - $35.00 per hour. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute record process adjustments as necessary.
  • Operate a variety of equipment with varying interface types.
  • Maintain Process Sheets and document changes as needed.
  • Develop new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)’s and Process Sheets as necessary.
  • Monitor processes on a daily basis. Adjust where appropriate and notify Process Engineers on critical issues.
  • Assist with equipment and process validations, optimizations, and characterizations to reduce cost and increase capacity.
  • Assist Process Engineers whenever needed.
  • Work with team members and independently with a high degree of initiative to support and maintain good manufacturing processes and continuous improvements.
  • Communicate production status and issues in a timely manner to team members and management.
  • Train personnel on equipment, maintenance, and safety practices.
  • Assist other teams to ensure an adequate production environment whenever needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in operation of process equipment.
  • Experience in fabrication processes/reactor growth environment is highly desired.
  • Knowledgeable about production quality metrics is a plus.
  • Manufacturing or Facilities experience a plus.
  • Previous technician experience is preferred.
  • Associates degree in a technical field, military-technical training with 4+ years experience, or 5+ years’ work experience in a related technical field.
  • Organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with using PPE and safe practices when working with high voltage, microwave, compressed gases, and chemicals.
  • Ability to perform critical tasks with a high level of accuracy per procedures.
  • Good computer skills, and MS-Office suite (or Google apps equivalent).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
