Responsibilities

• Responsible for all facilities-related maintenance including yard, building exterior, building interior, rail siding and silos.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance-related housekeeping.
• Responsible initiating personnel career development.
• Responsible for taking care of designated area.
• Responsible for following all safety procedures.
• Responsible for daily application of CMMS.
• Responsible to work all shutdowns, PM’s and vacation coverage.

Education:

• High school education or equivalent.

Experience:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, previous maintenance experience or training. A well rounded mechanical knowledge and experience is required.
• An understanding of DC/AC drives, AC and DC motors, relay logic systems and programmable controllers is a plus, but not required.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to calibrate and measure. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of maintenance and equipment. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Requires prolonged sitting and frequent bending, stooping and stretching; manual dexterity; the ability to distinguish letters; occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds. Environment conditions vary from hot to cold, but the facility is mainly climate controlled.
