Lead Three Year Old Teacher--Half Day Program Job at Hayes Barton Baptist Preschool
Hayes Barton Baptist Preschool is a play based preschool in Raleigh, NC. It is a half day program running from 9:15-1:00 pm. We are currently hiring an enthusiastic and loving lead teacher for our M-TH Three year old class for the 2023-2024 school year. We follow the WCPSS traditional calendar, starting the week before Labor Day and ending the week before Memorial Day in May.
As a teacher at HBBP, you will help little ones learn about God as well as learning social skills, emotional development and language skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children
- Create age appropriate lesson plans
- Maintain a safe and attractive classroom that encourages children to explore, create and learn
- Accept daily responsibilities for necessary housekeeping duties in classroom, playground and common use areas
- Attend all required staff meetings and/or trainings
Desired skills and Experience:
- Degree in Child Development or Early Education
- Knowledge of social, emotional and creative needs of young children
- Must be able to pass CPR certification ( HBBP will pay for certification)
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in connection with handling of children
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour

License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
