Home Care Business Development Manager Job at Nutmeg Health Search
We are seeking a full-time, experienced Home Care Business Development Manager to develop relationships with referral sources and generate clients for home care services in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
This is a field-based position that requires in-person contact with referral sources. Candidates should have a proven track record of generating new business and sales in the home care industry. The ideal candidate will take a leadership role in growing the business and be self-motivated to thrive with minimal direct supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify existing and generate new referral contacts within the community, including hospital case managers, discharge planners, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing/rehab facilities, home health agencies, hospices, physicians’ offices.
- Visit hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, doctor’s offices, and other referral sources in our service area regularly and follow up with discharge planners when current clients get admitted.
- Provide updates and statuses on admitted clients and potential referrals.
- Assist in obtaining relevant paperwork from physicians and discharge planners on a timely basis.
- Establish, nurture and maintain existing and generate new professional relationships with all referral sources that contribute to the company’s continued growth.
- Regularly attend daytime and evening marketing and networking events to enhance the visibility of our agency in the community and generate new relationships and business opportunities.
- Assist with marketing on social media and via email.
Job Requirements:
- At least two years of previous home care marketing experience.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in health care and senior care industries.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent technology skills and being able to use a smartphone and a tablet along with the Microsoft Office suite and use a contact relationship management system.
- Must have your own car in good working condition with insurance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
