Graduate Nurse (RN/LPN) Job at John Scott House Rehab & Nursing Center
John Scott House, located in Braintree MA, is searching for Graduate Nurses to join our team! If you are currently a graduate of a nursing program waiting to take your state exam (NCLEX), this position is perfect for you!
REQUIREMENTS:
- A graduate of a BORN approved registered nursing program or practical nursing program or in last semester at a BORN approved registered nursing or practical nursing program.
- Current CPR desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Dependable, adaptable, able to problem solve and communicate well with patients/residents, families, and staff. Willingness to function as part of a team. Able to deal well with stressful situations, exhibit patience and clarity in dealing with issues.
- Ability to speak, read and write effectively in English
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
- Able to interpret and implement established facility policies, procedures and regulations with regard to Residents Rights, Confidentiality, Safety and Infection Control.
- Able to consistently present an appropriate, professional appearance. Report for work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
- Assure confidentiality of all resident/patient information. Complies with access level and minimum necessary guidelines for use of (PHI) Protected Health Information. Please refer to the Minimum Necessary policy and guidelines for the specific access levels for this position.
- Adhere to all safety policies including reporting/removing hazards immediately. Report all unusual occurrences promptly. Assure equipment and supplies are used appropriately and in a cost effective manner.Maintain knowledge of equipment operation.
- Responsible for own professional practice, development, and education. Maintain record of continuing education (copies of CEUs), current certifications etc in personnel file.Accountable for data contained in the employees’ handbook.
