Director of Lodging and Hospitality Job at Dillon Beach Resort
Dillon Beach Resort is a 55-acre property located in West Marin County. The Resort comprises of 28 ocean side cabins, a mile-long private beach, general store and restaurant.
The property has undergone extensive upgrades including the construction of new units and is prepared to re-launch in May 2023. We are looking for our new Director of Lodging to join our team. We need a person with a strong hospitality background with experience in hotel operations and management. We need a self-motivated, organized leader that possesses superior customer service skills.
General Lodging and Hospitality Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be a top hospitality leader while managing all daily operations inclusive but not limited to the following:
- Ability to understand and maximize all industry related target goals, including RevPAR, ADR and overall KPI’s
 - Detail understanding and experience with PMS, including Little Hotelier and Clover
 - Experience with OTA’s, including expedia.com and bookings.com
 - Lead staff by example via providing warm, professional hospitality at all times
 - Actively engage with each and every customer, creating an environment where customers feel both welcomed and at home
 - Communicate with guests via email and phone correspondence
 - Initiate side work responsibilities with other staff, inclusive of ensuring attractive appearance of the general store, parking lots, pathways, landscaping around tiny home park + cabins, housekeeping, office, restrooms, common areas, exteriors, patios, picnic areas, shared workspaces and storage areas
 - Maintain organization and general inventory of supplies in stock + supply rooms
 
Requirements:
- Proven management experience, minimum 2 years
 - Strong food and beverage knowledge, and interest, native to Northern California
 - Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office: Word and Excel, POS systems, reservation platforms, inventory softwares, accounting/bookkeeping softwares)Little Hotelier or other PMS platforms
 - Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
 - Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
 - Communication and leadership skills
 - Up to date with lodging trends and best practices
 - Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
 - Guest-oriented and service-minded

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
