Five Iron Golf (5i) is the country's biggest indoor golf company with three locations in New York City, three locations in Chicago, and locations in Seattle, Baltimore, Las Vegas, DC, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
5i is not your traditional country club. We aspire to establish a casual, relaxed environment for golfers and non-golfers alike. We are a fun and growing company with an urban vibe. We offer indoor golf simulation, lessons, golf fittings, and food and beverage service.
As we expand, we are looking for team-oriented employees who help continue our most important tradition; providing outstanding customer service.
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative. This individual will facilitate communication between customers and staff members for specific inquiries and will report directly to the Director of Customer Engagement.
Hours may vary, so a flexible schedule is required. We are looking to fill all shifts. Weekend availability is required. Full time positions available. Our department is open from 6am-4am EST
Responsibilities include the following:
- Manage the live website chat and phones for customer inquiries across all locations
- Oversee all bookings emails for all Five Iron locations
- Our bookings email is a location-specific email designed to give customers direct access to our staff for inquiries on booking simulator rentals, lessons, etc.
- Attract new customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services
- Assist with Mindbody software management for client bookings
- Respond to customer inquiries via social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)
- Facilitate communication between customers and staff members for specific inquiries
Required Qualifications:
Golf, server, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required
- 2+ relative years of experience in a customer service function
- Experience in written and verbal communication
- Customer support
- Oral and written communication
- Crisis management experience
Remote Work Requirements
- Internet Speed of 100Mpbs or higher
- Direct connection to a cable or fiber modem preferred but not required
- Must be located in the following states: CO, CT, GA, IN, IL, ME, MD, NJ, NY, PA, TX, WA

Salary: The hourly rate will be between $15/hr - 19/hr based on experience and location
