We are looking for a Qualified Campus Director for our Hazel Park campus. This position manages the day-to-day tasks of our busy childcare office, including scheduling, customer service, organization, filing, communications, coaching, and marketing. 5-Star Directors are well-versed in Early Childhood Development practices, administrative processes, and have strong leadership skills. They are critical thinkers, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles. They embrace the everchanging, sometimes crazy, but always worth-it days that come with this field. The main goal of this position is to confidently lead a teaching team that ensures ongoing parent and staff satisfaction through efficient completion of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated hours a week in a classroom.
  • Promote the excellence of Green Garden both during your time at work and in your daily life.
  • Manage all day to day operations of their campus.
  • Complete morning rounds in all classrooms.
  • Ensure licensing compliance at all times.
  • Ensure our program meets quality expectations and plan for improvements as needed.
  • Exhibit excellent attendance.
  • Assist with staffing, including marketing, onboarding, training, and retention.
  • Provide leadership to all team members including coaching and mentoring.
  • Identify team members with potential to grow and advance career and support in such.
  • Manage client recruiting, enrollment, orientation, and retention.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients, maintain regular communication and keep them informed of all center happenings.
  • Plan and participate in majority of staff, family, and community events.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing for both clients and staff.
  • Work with administrative team in future growth planning.
  • Maintain complete and organized files for staff, children, and licensing.
  • Familiarize yourself with our earth friendly practices and ensure they are followed in all areas of our center.
  • Stay up to date on current developments in the world of early childhood education.

Skills and Qualities

  • Proven experience as a Lead Teacher
  • Thorough knowledge of Michigan licensing regulations and quality standards
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office
  • Procare and Brightwheel experience is a plus!
  • Outstanding communication and public speaking skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Self-Starter qualities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
