RegionAle is a family-owned, American gourmet sandwich shop highlighting regionally famous sandwiches and local craft beers. Here, we strive to provide our customer with a distinctive, delicious meal while also providing a unique and fun experience. As RegionAle's founder is a chef at heart, we take pride in our scratch kitchen and source and local, seasonally appropriate ingredients whenever possible.
Our first location is in Ellicott City, MD, and after 3 years we have begun our expansion with our second location set to open in Canton, Baltimore. We are currently looking for motivated, hard-working, and personable individuals to join our team at the new Baltimore location.

At RegionAle, the FOH role is a particularly important role within our company. You are a face for the restaurant and embody our core values within every guest interaction. It is imperative that our guests feel welcomed, and comfortable upon entering the restaurant. Menu knowledge is crucial, as we often guide our guests through the different sandwiches and other menu items while ordering. Beer knowledge, or at least willingness to learn, will be of importance here because we are offering a 24 tap self-serve beer wall that will require more knowledge and interaction with guests. In essence, the cashier role is not just taking orders; you are an integral part in ensuring that guests have a great experience all around, and that begins when they first walk in.
Responsibilities

*Greet customers entering and leaving the business *Maintain a clean and tidy FOH area *Take orders and accurately process all cash and credit payments *Provide exceptional customer service

*Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service *Basic mathematical skills *Strong attention to detail *Ability to listen and communicate effectively *Sense of urgency and calm under pressure
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $22.00/hour.
