ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Analyst serves as a key role on LifeStance Health’s Corporate Business Operations team. The team supports LifeStance Health’s Practice Operations and Shared Services by helping design, implement, and streamline strategic operational reporting through our weekly/monthly BMS (Business Management System) metric reports. This role will support the BMS by building new report views for additional insights, performing various ad-hoc analysis requests, driving development of a single source of truth data set for Carrier/Subcarrier payor rates, and participating on other Shared Service/Business Transformation Office initiatives to offer analytic expertise.
Analysts will gain experience designing and presenting data analyses which inform strategic operational changes that they will then help plan, communicate, and implement. The Analyst will also assist with ongoing one-time operational projects. This position requires a balance of data analytics, project management, strategic thinking, communication skills, and humor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage data driven analysis and reporting for LifeStance’s Financial and Operational KPI metrics such as:
o Revenue, Center Margin, EBITDA, and Visits
o Clinician Starts/Terms and Reported Net Headcount
o Clinician Utilization and Capacity
o Clinician, Practice Operations, and Patient Satisfaction
- Collaborate with both Corporate Shared Services and Regional Practice Operation teams to improve reporting and actionable insights
- Develop/maintain standardized BMS cadence for Shared Services reporting similar to our recently developed Practice Operations BMS reporting
- Perform analysis using Financial and Operational data and create new report views as needed, either ad-hoc or as permanently maintained reports/views
- Support Payor Rates and Contracting through analysis of internal and external payor data
- Help create and maintain a single source of truth as it relates to payor contracts and subcontracts
- Conduct a variety of analysis on clinician compensation, operational metrics, historical trends, etc.
- Present to and make recommendations on these analysis to key stakeholders
- Act as liaison between stakeholders to ensure efficiency of data collection
- Other duties, projects, and analysis as assigned
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience with increasing project management focus, ideally with a specialization in healthcare
- Experience in Corporate Finance, Consulting, Corporate Development, or Accounting preferred
- Proven experience with financial and variance analysis
- High proficiency and comfort with Microsoft Excel and KPI dashboard style reporting
- Secondary proficiencies preferred include Power BI, Tableau, SQL
- Exceptional communication skills
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
