Menchey Music Service is currently seeking one full-time brass technician.
Menchey Music Service is a family-owned, full-service school music dealer in business since 1936. We pride ourselves in serving the needs of students, parents, and music educators and in supporting local school music programs in central Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are currently seeking a motivated, positive, and experienced Brass Repair Technician to join our team at our Operations Center in Hanover, PA. This is our corporate headquarters and is not a retail facility, so no walk-in repairs.
The primary role of the Band Repair Technician is to perform maintenance and repair service of brass instruments to include the following:
- Perform high-quality maintenance and repair service on brass instruments including our rental fleet, customer & school-owned instruments of student to professional quality.
- Assist with loaner and rental return refurbishment and repair.
- Maintain company equipment and a clean workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Recent graduate from band instrument repair school or technician with 2+ years repair experience
- HS Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and achieve deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must pass on-site brass repair bench test
