OVERVIEW: Premier Outpatient Surgical Center/Procedure Suites conveniently located in Northern Westchester County, NY.

The medical specialties currently covered in the suites are Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Pulmonology and Urology. The most common procedures performed are Colonoscopies, Esophagogastroduodenoscopies, Cystoscopies, Hysteroscopies, and Bronchoscopies.

The Procedure Suites provide direct and efficient outpatient surgical care in a friendly, state-of-the art, full accredited facility. Accredited by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), the Procedure Suite is required to uphold the standards mandated by AAAHC to maintain safety and satisfaction. This accreditation serves as continued confidence in our healthcare team, our physicians, staff, and the services provided.

The Procedure Suites have maintained a zero-infection rate since its inception and provides compassionate and professional care. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Professional Nurse currently licensed in New York State.
  • Baccalaureate degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrate competence as a registered nurse with a minimum of 2 - 5 years clinical/supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership ability along with outstanding communication and organizational skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Administrative Supervisor is a registered Professional Nurse who assists in planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing services.
  • She/he is responsible for the administrative operation of the Outpatient Surgical Care / Procedure Suite
  • The Administrative Supervisor identifies and resolves problems and communicates major or unresolved issues/problems to the appropriate RN Manager or RN Director.
  • Responsible for operational performance of assigned team, which are directed by the multidisciplinary clinical leadership team.
  • Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Serves as a resource person to all nursing personnel and to other healthcare staff for discussion or assistance in problem solving and intervention with staff, patients, families or physicians as needed.
  • Participates in the evaluation of the performance of nursing staff on assigned shift.
  • Act as a resource and role model for staff in the delivery of patient-centered care.
  • Responsible for weekly staff scheduling and managing staff PTO requests and daily callouts.
  • Responsible for administrative time keeping in the system for assigned personnel: with escalation and collaboration with the Manager.
  • Responsible for maintenance of clinical supply inventory at established service line par levels.
  • Ensures quality Customer Service is provided to the patients and visitors courteously and promptly by staff.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards of care to assure excellence in patient care, and compliance with any applicable regulatory or accrediting agencies.
  • Works with staff to ensure the workflows are being maintained, patient flow is efficient, and quality of care is delivered.
  • Ensures employees are following assigned responsibilities preparing equipment, stocking rooms, addressing patient concerns, and delivering clear and concise documentation of patient messages within his/her scope of practice and assigned service line.
  • Works routinely with appropriate clinical management to provide feedback and correction of recurring errors.
