Westfield Holiday Rink Host Job at BHS
Seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, professional, and qualified candidates to host a 2022 Promotional Holiday Skating Rink, located at Westfield Santa Anita designed to engage the community and guests during the holiday season! The primary function of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a small seasonal, outdoor promotional skating rink, and therefore, demonstrated management or guest services experience is an asset.
As the one of nation’s premier provider of promotional skating rink events, we are dedicated to re-inventing the skating experience, and making memories for our guests.
December 3, 2022 to December 18, 2022
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties to include greeting guests, handing out and putting away ice skates, maintaining ice and skate changing area, plus:
- Monitoring rink safety, and eliminating hazards
- Interacting with customers to ensure customers are within safety compliance
- Assisting with maintenance & reporting duties
- Providing excellent customer service
- Reporting deficiencies to the management team
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED-equivalent required.
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Must be friendly and well groomed
- Willing and able to remain on your feet for extended period of time, and work in inclement weather
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Good communication skills, and comfortable working with the public
- Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ice skating experience preferred, as well as ability to perform basic skating skills.
