Schedule: Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM (Oct - June)
Monday thru Saturday 7 AM - 3:30 PM (July – Sep) New Hampshire
Location: UES, NY - 9 Months
New Hampshire - 3 Months
Salary: $29/hour in NY
$2,000/week in NH
Overview:
An elderly client is seeking a trustworthy, friendly, and reliable Caregiver for herself. The Caregiver should be neat,
compassionate, and discreet with the flexibility to work with a team. Candidate should have experience with the
elderly and sensitivity to memory loss, demonstrating competence, judgment, and discretion.
Duties:
- Help with dressing, bathing and moving around
- Help with a cane, walker and wheelchair
- Make sure medication is taken
- Help with routine exercise
- Provide assistance as requested
- Keep a watchful eye on the client while preserving her feeling of independence
- Light cooking, and occasional laundry as needed
Character
- Warm, engaging, friendly, a good listener
- Professional, proactive, capable, and resourceful
- Willing and able to work as part of a caregiving team
- Polished in appearance and demeanor
- Strong communicator
- High level of discretion, loyalty and integrity
- Sound judgment and common sense
- Clean and neat
- 5+ years’ experience as a Caregiver or in a similar position
- Excellent references
- Driver a plus
- Non-smoker
- Dog friendly
