We are looking for a creative self-starter to serve as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the company’s website, including ongoing optimization, troubleshooting, ADA compliance, SEO execution, UX/UI website innovation, and website analytics and data connections. The Webmaster will manage relationships with external development partners, ensuring best practices related to site performance, SEO, and user experience. The Webmaster will report directly to the VP of Marketing, supporting the cross-functional needs of the organization and the overall health of the company's website.

A successful candidate will be detail-oriented and highly collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Manage CMS for website (Wordpress) and webstore (WooCommerce) updates and identify optimization opportunities
  • Build functional webpages that are easy to use across all browsers and devices, partnering with external resources, as necessary
  • Manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations
  • Monitor and analyze site performance (e.g traffic, conversions)
  • Ensure functionality and efficiency of the website, leading regular website health audits and identifying opportunities for site improvement
  • Conduct A/B tests and other performance measures
  • Establish and manage the optimization of SEO strategies
  • Partner with operations and product teams to ensure proper data transfer between digital systems
  • Ensure site security
  • Optimize loading speeds and capacity
  • Debug pages and fix broken links or images

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience in website development
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and website best practices
  • Experience working with a CMS, preferably Wordpress
  • Experience working with an eCommerce tool, preferably WooCommerce
  • Experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Solid organizational skills and detailed oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Experience with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs), preferred
  • Experience supporting or managing a website migration, preferred
