The Albion College Department of Earth & Environment invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position beginning August 2023. We are especially interested in candidates who will contribute to a campus climate that supports equity, diversity, and belonging. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in geology or earth science, or a closely related field, and a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts environment. The successful candidate will teach a combination of lectures and laboratories in introductory geology and earth science. Additional courses may also be assigned based on the needs of the department.
