FSR Project Manager VAK New Equipment Trainer

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Full-Time employee to work as a VAK Field Service Representative Project Manager in support of a DoD contract providing technical equipment instruction and support for New Equipment Training (NET) Instructor. Responsibilities will include course scheduling, advising and training on the employment of RAA/VAK equipment support to SOF military units, SOF Component Headquarters, and TSOC, including but not limited to the following: Instruct and advise senior/junior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) Coordination with RBT headquarters for specialized program support.

• Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills:

Retired or former Special Operations soldier 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity

Recent combat experience, Experience with or technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism goals, Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as: FalconView, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map PointAbility to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision Must be able to transport a 35 pound load with no assistance, CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit Desired Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Excellent interpersonal, time management, andorganizational skills, Excellent motivation skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with administration, customers, and employees.

• Hybrid role
• Heavy travel is involved with this position (at least 50%+)
• Hours: 40 hours per week and some weekend travel is expected
• The successful candidate should be available to begin work ASAP

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to significant knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience. Experience providing direct technical and operational support to special operations forces.

Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited bylocal laws/regulations.
