Preferred Care at Cumberland is seeking a motivated and creative Unit Manager such as yourself to be part of our growth in an enjoyable atmosphere. With the recent renovations and new management at Preferred Care Cumberland the Unit Manager will assist in leading the clinical team along with other Unit Managers. Preferred Care Cumberland currently has Four Star ratings in Quality Measures with a focus on exceptional nursing care and nursing outcomes. With experienced nursing support and guidance, candidate will be set up for success.

Unit Magaer will work during the day shift
Ideally the candidate should have experience in a LTC setting.
Unit ManagerResponsibilities:
- Supervision of Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants
- Ensure appropriate staffing
- Frequent rounding throughout the unit
- Support and assist unit nurses with Admissions and Emergency Transfers as needed
- Completion of shift report
- Communicating with physicians, family members and team members
- Ongoing assessment of patients, and timely response to their needs
- Serve as point person in the absence of the Director of Nursing
- Long Term Care Supervisory experience preferred
