Travel Nurses

As a Travel Nurse, your role is crucial to the success of our health care operations (8 locations in Mahoning County). The Travel Nurse assists our Director of Nursing and Resident Care Coordinators with supervision and management on a temporary, extended or as needed basis. Candidates must be able to cover a variety of shifts (days/nights) and shift lengths as needed.
The Travel Nurse will be assigned to a community during a position vacancy, start up, acquisition, vacations, and leaves of absence or may support the organization or a community with a special project, etc. The Travel Nurse functions in multiple roles to include direct resident care, supervising, quality assurance, training, and regulatory matters. This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to grow their leadership skills, industry knowledge and enjoys a variety of assignments.
Requirements:
- Must have an active LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio
- Must have current CPR and first aide.
- Must have at least 2 years experience in long term care or assisted living
- Must have a flexible schedule, willing to work a variety of shifts/shift lengths and travel between our 8 locations for assignments.
- Must be willing to rotate weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Be familiar with ODH and CMS regulations.
