Position Description: Classroom teachers are responsible for the planning, implementation, and assessment of an academic program that follows the Diocesan, California Common Core, and school standards. A 2-year kindergarten program needs a strong educator who is interested in creating and maintaining a new educational program for the school's youngest learners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serves as a 2-year kindergarten teacher in a self-contained classroom (10-20 students)
- Knowledgeable and supportive of a faith-filled Catholic environment.
- Maintains and demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
- Provides superior instruction for students with diverse learning needs
- Integrates technology to support student achievement and growth across all subjects.
- Participates in the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Master's degree preferred.
- A valid CA teaching credential or enrolled in a Catholic Education Masters + credential program, preferred.
- A strong work ethic and understanding of Catholic education.
