This position is entirely remote and will report to Product Manager, Transcription.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client orders, and communicate deadlines.
  • Understand details of client requirements regarding formatting and notation.
  • Manage transcription production pipeline lifecycle from the order through delivery.
  • Coordinate staffing with outside vendors and contractors.
  • Maintains payroll and billing records for outside vendors and contractors.
  • Track and report production metrics.
  • Communicate with Transcription Product Manager about staffing needs.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and have been reviewed for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting requirements prior to submission.
  • Familiarity with start-up environments.
  • Familiarity and fluency with Google Suite of tools.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Bonus points: Has a solid understanding of legal industry methodology and/or experience in the legal or transcription industry.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Process and respond well to quality feedback.
  • Proofreading, and editing experience.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
  • At least 1-year of operations and scheduling experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • College or university degree or court reporting/transcription certification.
  • Prior experience as a court reporter or transcriptionist.
  • Experience with court reporting software such as Case CATalyst, Eclipse, or RealLegal.

The pay range for this hourly position is $20-$23/hr; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
