As a Supplier Quality Process Development Manager, you will be required to interact with all levels of supplier management. This role’s purpose is to eliminate supplier quality defects, support the business growth and apply risk mitigation through supplier qualification, sustain supplier quality through auditing and managing supplier change requests. Navistar’s Supplier Quality (SQ) team has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Process Development Manager at our Headquarters in Lisle, IL. The Supplier Quality Process Development Manager is instrumental in the operation of Supplier Quality functions by leading the department policies, processes, and procedures, while driving a continuous improvement environment to address process gaps and drive efficiency.
As a Supplier Quality Process Development Manager, you will be required to interact with all levels of supplier management. This role’s purpose is to eliminate supplier quality defects, support the business growth and apply risk mitigation through supplier qualification, sustain supplier quality through auditing and managing supplier change requests.
- Give urgent support for critical quality and delivery issues and assist suppliers with root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Identify & support implementation of supplier process improvements that increase output, reduce lead-time and reduce overall costs while improving quality
- Supports the Supplier Quality Process team in aligning department policies, processes and methods with Traton sister companies to attain synergies in this area that lead to common processes, methods, and practices, including developing and implementing document control policies, procedures, and systems
- Collaborate with all Supplier Quality areas regarding developing new training modules, and administering training
- Lead the department internal and external audit preparation and review activities

At least 8 years of quality experience

- At least 6 years of quality experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience

- At least 10 years of quality experience

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. - Quality professional experience
- Experience in working with Supplier Quality and supplier oversight
- Internal and/or external Quality Management systems auditee and auditor experience preferred (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3)
- Quality Management Systems Administration and Development experience desired
- Training Administration experience desired
- Experience working on Continuous Improvement projects with demonstrated results
- Experience in SharePoint / PowerApps / PowerBI and other Power Platform development preferred
- Experience with Visio or other process flow software preferred
