We are currently hiring a specimen collector to administer COVID-19 tests in San Diego, CA. We are seeking 2 dependable and motivated individuals to join our team. We are currently looking for someone to work 7am-3pm every Monday and Tuesday.

All medical specialties involving patient care (ie. MA, CNA, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Job Description:

• The ideal candidates must have some experience in some type of medical setting, though the experience may vary. Previous swab specimen collecting experience is a plus but not required. All new hires will be thoroughly trained on the testing process, testing software, and specimen handling procedures and protocols.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, great customer service, and clinical acumen.
• Must be dressed in scrubs and appropriate PPE at all times while at testing sites (PPE is provided).
• Must be able to navigate company software (will train) and perform basic computer and internet tasks. Must be able to enter in specimen results accurately into our laboratory portal within the allotted time.
• Review patient identification and registration documents.
• Review sample collection process with each patient prior to testing.
• Discretely report results to patient in a timely manner.
• Must get along easily with others and be compassionate, discreet, and professional at all times.
• Drop off specimens to FedEx location at end of shift when needed.
• Track all supplies and maintain inventory, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Must practice universal healthcare safety precautions at all times while conducting tests.
• Must comply with HIPPA guidelines and confidentiality regulations.

All employees, staff, and patients are required to wear face masks at all times while in testing areas regardless of vaccination status. Hand sanitizers and disposable masks will be available at each testing station.
