Sinker/Wire EDM (ISO 9001)

Cavaform International, LLC is immediately hiring an experienced Sinker/Wire EDM.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in tight-tolerance plastic injection mold manufacturing.

Qualifications/Skills:

· 15 years minimum experience of Sinker/Wire EDM

· Must have advanced knowledge of EDM parameters to increase efficiency, surface finish and over burn.

· Must have your own set of personal tools (Height stands, Indicators, Micrometers, and Sine Plates) and must be competent in reading blueprints

· Ability to adjust parameters with no supervision to decrease erode time and improve surface finish quality

· At a minimum, a High School diploma or GED EQUIVALENT

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Use Quality Manual and procedures to be able to identify product with non-conformance

· Recording personal inspection onto proper report

· Use of comparators, micro-heights and understanding of Quality Control Reports

· Provide technical support to less experienced employees

· Exceptional understanding of various EDM applications with initiative to build and design fixtures to improve lead-time and quality

· Set-up and operate both manual and CNC machines/Running multiple machines

· Adjusting priorities to assist management with scheduling and delivery dates

· Ensuring EDM Department is clean and organized

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
