Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional hospitality while providing our customers with a memorable experience to ensure their satisfaction
• Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner and explain our menu and specials
• Accurately take orders and input into Point of Sale system
• Run food and pre-buss tables
• Accept payment from customers, count money accurately and process credit cards
• Ensure proper set up and cleanliness of station before, during and after shift
• Keep server alley clean and stocked
• Abide by all laws and policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
• Work with other servers in a team-oriented environment which includes refilling drinks and running food for other servers
• Demonstrate upbeat attitude, professionalism, punctuality, high standards & teamwork

Our History

Great food always has a history. Ours began in 1943 when, at the age of 9, Jim Demos began working with his father Pete in their small, family owned restaurant in Birmingham, Alabama. As a Greek immigrant family, the Demos knew the important of offering exceptional food with authentic ingredients at quality prices. Because of our strong belief that many people enjoy eating in restaurants that offer memorable dishes at a good honest value, we have spent many years developing and collecting authentic recipes from our family, many parts of the country and overseas. Being part of a family that is rich in restaurant traditions has afforded us the opportunity to establish our restaurant as a place where people can enjoy a unique dining experience – one that features exceptional service and a variety of heritage dishes, all handmade with fresh ingredients and served in generous portions.
