Tier II Landscape Design is a NYC- Brooklyn based landscape design and build firm Seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join our team . The candidate will work closley with our Lead and Senior Landscape designers and lead projects from concept design through project completion and will have the ability to translate design concepts into successful landscapes. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated proficiency in team organization, consultant communication and coordination. This position requires a high level of design, client interface and direction of junior and intermediate design staff.

*Candidates with a Landscape Architectural License (or in the process of registration) are strongly preferred.

*Bachelor of Landscape Architecture/ Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited school. LEED accreditation is required

*At least 5 years of experience.

*Must demonstrate ability to visually express complex ideas and solve problems
graphically.

*Must be AutoCAD proficient and have a working knowledge in Adobe CC programs such as Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit, 3-D computer rendering, and digital modeling as required.

*Most demonstrate experience and proficiency in site planning, grading and planting design.

*Must demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills, strong organization
and time management habits, and ability to work well independently and collaboratively.

*Must have a portfolio of distinctive, built work and demonstrated ability to lead design and consultants teams through all phases of projects.

*Responsibilities include preparing landscape architectural plans,2D and 3D drawing
and models using architectural computer software to illustrate a project design concept.

*Must demonstrate specific design and technical experience leading and managing a project from Schematic Design through Construction.

*Must have knowledge and experience within Rooftop gardens, and urban planning

*Must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational qualities, and team building skills

Salaries are commensurate with title and experience.
