Job Title: AWS Migration Engineer
Location – New York, NY 10001 (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Contract to Hire
Requirements:
Pay Range: $72 - $75 W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Contract to Hire
- AWS Migration Project
- Migrating from Talend ETL to AWS
- Migrating from Linux to AWS Glue
- Migrating from Talend to PySpark
- Migrating from Cassandra to Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL
- Must have skills – Python, PySpark, Aurora Postgres.
- Talend (ETL) will be a big plus.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience building high performance scalable enterprise analytics or data centric solutions.
- 8+ or 5+ years of experience in the design and build of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes by writing custom data pipelines.
- At least 5 years of experience implementing complex ETL pipelines preferably in connection with Glue and/or Spark.
- Exceptional coding and design skills in Python or Java/Scala
- Hands-on experience with AWS (i.e., Glue, Aurora Postgres, Lambda, EMR, EKS, Redshift, etc.)
- Experience with visualization tools like QuickSight, PowerBI, Looker or Tableau
- Experience with Talend (ETL) is a big plus.
