We are searching for a talented SCADA Engineer to join our engineering team in our Midland office. Responsibilities include:

• Implementation of an enterprise SCADA system across all business assets
• Identify and develop both software and hardware solutions as it relates to SCADA and Automation
• Work with support staff to ensure 24/7 availability of the SCADA system
• Design and program facilities within the SCADA application software
• work with field technicians to resolve and test new devices
• Train field personnel on new equipment
• Function as a first level contact for resolution of issues related to SCADA systems

Qualified candidates should possess:

• Minimum of 4 years of prior experience in a similar SCADA development role
• 4 year degree in Computer Engineering or other similar field
• Proficiency with using different expression languages, Java, Python, and SQL to provide end-to-end data collection, intake and processing.
• Knowledge of HTTP and WebSocket protocols
• Can deliver tasks using top-notch JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 techniques
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
• Experience in testing frameworks
• Experience in Progressive Web Apps
• Understanding and or able to creates data pipelines and data integrations in databases, data warehouses and data lakes working with various cloud and on-premises technologies
• Skilled at data movement (PCN to DMZ/Cloud), consolidating and cleansing the data
• experience in Web Designing tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Inkscape), and has the ability to translate
• Coordinate and participate in the design, development and administration of standards and documentation for all SCADA configuration databases, applications programming and core SCADA functions. Enforce adherence to corporate SCADA standards
• Solid understanding of desktop computers, printers, and general office applications
• Working knowledge of SCADA architecture design including control, measurement and safety systems for oil and gas production and pipeline facilities
• Working knowledge of OT Cybersecurity
• Understanding different RTU protocols and process to pull data from PLC / Controller type units

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
