First Team Staffing is seeking a Sales Representative in our Catonsville, MD office supporting the White Marsh, MD Territory. A successful Sales Representative will be responsible for sustained and profitable sales growth in the industrial or manufacturing staffing market with a focus on new business, customer service, value creation and general market awareness. The ideal candidate will reside in the greater Baltimore area.

What You Will Do In Your Role:

  • Daily demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset managing your territory like it’s your own business
  • Primary focus on new business development; determining potential opportunities from cold calls, networking, marketing leads, and other sources
  • Maintaining and strengthening customer relationships through professional sales calls and follow ups
  • Maintain existing sales and actively seek opportunities resulting in growth • Responsible for opportunity and market analysis
  • Analyze customer and market needs
  • Proactively manage customer projects to ensure customer needs are understood and met, including following up on customer request
  • Continue to develop contacts at all levels within accounts and prospects
  • Utilizing tools such as Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Maintain a CRM sales pipeline tool, monthly forecasts, account profiles, competitive profiles, account strategies, pricing information, etc.

The Experience You Will Bring:

  • Ability to sell using a consultative, problem-solving approach
  • Time management and prospecting skills
  • Ability to uncover problems, issues and needs from a customer's perspective and to incorporate creative problem-solving techniques to identify solutions that create value for both the customer and the company
  • Strong internal and external communication skills including oral, written, presentation and active listening

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of B2B sales experience within the Staffing Industry
  • Experienced in prospecting, business planning, consulting, and territory financial analysis
  • Demonstrated experience meeting sales objectives/goals
  • Willing to travel up to 50% in the territory with potential overnight travel
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s license and good driving record

  • Staffing industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
