Your impact

As a Sales Development Manager at Correlation One, you will be a player-coach, executing your own outreach campaigns while building and leading a successful outbound Sales Development team. Your primary objective will be to generate pipeline for sales by executing outreach campaigns, hiring, coaching, measuring team success, and optimizing the team's performance.

You will partner with Sales and Marketing to develop strategic plans for your team to achieve goals and execute outbound lead generation campaigns. You will manage and operationalize outbound pipeline generation motions and key activity metrics, accurately forecast pipeline, and develop a strong prospecting plan of attack.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience building and leading successful Sales Development teams, a passion for coaching and developing world-class talent, and excellent stakeholder management skills. You should have demonstrated aptitude for identifying and leveraging cutting-edge software solutions for Sales Development including Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo (or other comparable tools).

This role will report directly to the Vice President of Sales, Enterprise and offers a combination of base salary, variable compensation, equity opportunity and excellent benefits

A day in the life

  • Serve as a player-coach and build out the outbound sales function of the company
  • Successfully and strategically execute your own outreach campaigns to develop opportunities for the sales team from prospecting and marketing generated leads
  • Hire, coach, optimize, and measure the success of the SDR team with the ultimate goal of generating pipeline for sales
  • Develop outstanding talent, map out the gaps in the rep's skillset, coach and hold them accountable to reaching their potential, and take pride in promoting your team upwards/onwards
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand and set goals, develop strategic plans for how your team will hit them, and work side-by-side with SDRs to create and execute outbound lead generation campaigns
  • Balance leading a team and improving its performance while also rolling up your sleeves and getting things done
  • Help develop and constantly improve on new motions and scale existing motions
  • Set and achieve ambitious targets quarter after quarter
  • Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and call scripts
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Client Success, and Product

Your expertise

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in Sales Development, with at least 2 of those years leading a Sales Development Team
  • Previous experience building and leading successful Sales Development Teams
  • The ability to work in a rapidly expanding, fast-paced environment
  • Track record of leading teams to 100%+ target achievement
  • A passion for coaching and developing world class talent
  • Excellent at stakeholder management and keeping partners informed
  • Experience managing and operationalizing outbound pipeline generation motions and key activity metrics
  • Ability to accurately forecast pipeline based on analysis of the entire pipeline funnel including key prospecting activity inputs and outputs including calls/emails complete, meetings, opportunities created, and pipeline
  • Experience using tools such as Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo (or other comparable tools)

The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 - 115,000. Please note that the shared range is specific to the United States. The range only reflects the base salary and does not reflect bonus, equity or benefits.
