About the role
With boundless ambition, we’re showing no signs of slowing down so we’re on the lookout for a Retail Marketing Manager to grow our team while scaling WALDO’s partnership with Walmart from the ground up.
As our Retail Marketing Manager, you will support the Company's effort to deliver a best in class in-store experience. You will lead the relationship with Walmart, reporting directly into the [CEO & Chief of Staff] to develop and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives to drive retail traffic, in-store sales and brand awareness across Walmart and Walmart Vision Centers nationally. You will be on the ground inspiring our retail team and delivering innovative omni channel marketing programs and experiences targeted against short and long-term KPIs, but not limited to: all-up retail marketing strategy, new store grand openings, retail education and team training, store merchandising, and developing sales collateral.
What you will do
- Work closely with the brand team to ensure the marketing calendar translates into retail to deliver on consistent brand experiences
- Oversee new store onboarding marketing strategy and execution to drive traffic and grow awareness
- Brief and manage all collateral required to deliver seasonal campaigns and company initiatives
- Build strong relationship and collaborate with Walmart team and Vision Centers to develop strategic tools and best practices for store awareness and traffic driving programs
- Work closely with Brand, Operations, Creative, Performance Marketing, Data, amongst others, to build consensus and drive for results
- Manage retail marketing budgets, working closely with performance marketing & brand marketing to ensure efficient allocation across multi-channel initiatives delivering on financial KPIs
- Produce regular analysis to provide insight to the wider business on store performance and retail marketing campaigns. Manage third parties technology to support on analysis
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in Retail Marketing leadership
- Experience in launching multiple retail stores
- Experience in planning and execution of local and in store promotions as well as digital efforts
- You have the ability to strategize and execute in a fast-paced startup culture
- You are a self-starter capable of operating semi-autonomously but always collaboratively
- You are enthusiastic and passionate
- You are a team player who is not afraid to take on additional assignments that appear above or beneath you
- You have strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills and can effectively communicate remotely
- You can prioritize and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
