We are accepting applications for Restaurant Supervisors to join our food and beverage leadership team for The Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel

The Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel is located in the vibrant location of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Our downtown location sits ideal for guests to visit our exceptional culinary scene, brew pubs, historic and cultural attractions along with exploring engaging outdoor activities and vibrant nightlife - all within walking distance. Newly renovated guest rooms, luxury suites and an array of flexible meeting rooms, make the Sheraton the ideal location for guests and groups of all sizes.

Our Restaurant Supervisors are a member of the food and beverage leadership team and participate in the day-to-day operations of our year-round 250 Market Restaurant

Daily activities of our Restaurant Supervisors include tasks such as organizing and leading the team, maintaining a visible presence in the restaurant and checking in regularly with guests; responding to guest requests and issues in a timely manner; maintaining processes to control cost and build revenue; training and coaching the team, etc.

A successful Restaurant Supervisor will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in multiple roles in a food and beverage operation; the ability to establish a good working relationship with associates and fellow managers while acting in a supervisory role; the ability to communicate effectively; excellent computer skills; experience with point-of-sale systems; the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; the ability to walk/stand for up to 5 hours at a time and the ability to life/move up to 30 lbs.

As a representative of the hotel, the right candidate for Restaurant Supervisor must have a passion for promoting an enjoyable experience to exceed our guests expectations and must be dynamic, friendly, helpful, team-oriented, professional at all times and must be able to multi-task and handle busy situations with grace.
